The heartbeat of Ogging. Track Club Perth brings runners of all levels together each week for structured, coach-led sessions that build speed, endurance, and community. With a mix of threshold workouts, VO₂ intervals, and long runs, you’ll get fitter, faster, and stronger — all while training alongside a squad that makes the work fun.

Tuesday Threshold
📍 Lake Monger Reserve (South West Carpark) – rotating with South Perth, Yokine & Matilda Bay
🕔 5:30 PM sharp
Session focus: Lactate threshold development (30–45 mins of controlled tempo work).
Purpose: Build your engine.
Threshold sessions teach you to sit at that “comfortably hard” pace — fast enough to challenge, but sustainable. Perfect for improving endurance and teaching your body to handle fatigue in races.

Thursday Vo2
📍 Stephenson Ave, Mt Claremont – meet inside near the far right of the grandstand
🕔 5:30 PM sharp
Session focus: Speed endurance & VO₂max training intervals.
Purpose: Boost your top-end fitness.
Short, sharp intervals with solid recoveries — these sessions raise your ceiling so you can race faster with less effort. Expect punchy reps, race sharpness, and squad energy under lights.
- Coach-led intervals with full recovery guidance

Sunday Long Run
📍 Rotates weekly: Lake Monger, Herdsman, South Perth, Helena Valley
🕖 7:00 AM sharp (check socials the night before).
Session focus: Aerobic endurance & long-run strength.
Purpose: Consistency is king.
A steady aerobic run of 70–100 mins at coach-prescribed paces. This is the bread-and-butter of endurance training — building stamina, resilience, and confidence for race day.
