Coaching Policy
We want to keep things simple, transparent, and fair for everyone in the Ogging community. Below you’ll find how billing, pauses, and cancellations work for all coaching memberships.
Payments
- Coaching fees are billed monthly in advance via Direct Debit through GoCardless.
- Payments are automatically deducted via direct debit. Your first payment will be prorated from your start date to the end of that month, covering coaching for that initial period. Thereafter, all billing occurs on the 1st of each month for the upcoming month of coaching.
- You’ll receive an email notification before each payment is processed.
Cancellations
- You can cancel anytime by completing the pause/cancel form here.
- Your coaching will continue until the end of the month you’ve already paid for, and no further payments will be charged.
- There are no refunds for mid-month cancellations, as coaching services and program access are allocated monthly.
- If something unexpected happens — like injury, illness, or travel — just reach out to us. While coaching fees are non-refundable, we’ll always review your situation and try to find a fair solution.
Notice Period
To ensure smooth processing, please provide at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing date if you plan to cancel. Requests made within the final week of your billing cycle will roll over into the following month.
Race-Specific or Short-Term Coaching
We know many athletes sign up to prepare for a specific race or event. If your race falls early in the month (for example, the 7th) and you no longer need coaching after that, complete our pause/cancel form here at least 7 days before your next billing date. We’ll review your situation and may offer a pro-rata invoice or credit for that final period — for example, 50% of your usual monthly fee. This goodwill adjustment applies only when arranged in advance and with a minimum of 7 days’ notice prior to your billing date.
Pausing Your Membership
Need a short break from training due to injury, travel, or recovery?
You can pause your membership for free by completing our pause/cancel form here.
- Pauses take effect from the date your request is received (not retroactively).
- You can pause for a minimum of 1 week and up to 3 months.
- Coaching resumes automatically on the agreed date unless otherwise arranged.
How it works with payments:
If you pause partway through a month, any unused portion of your current billing period will be credited toward your return month.
For example, if you pause halfway through May, your June invoice will automatically reflect a 50% credit for the time you didn’t train.
Credits are applied to your next billing cycle rather than refunded directly.
Failed Payments
If your Direct Debit payment fails, our system will automatically retry after a few days.
If payment cannot be processed, your coaching access may be temporarily suspended until it’s resolved.
To avoid interruptions, please make sure your payment details are kept up to date.

Terms & Legal Notice
By signing up to an Ogging coaching membership, you agree to the terms outlined on this page. All memberships are billed monthly and continue until cancelled by written notice. Coaching fees are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law. Ogging Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify pricing, billing schedules, or policy terms with reasonable notice. In cases of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, injury, or early race completion), Ogging may offer discretionary credits or partial adjustments at its sole discretion.
